Hello everyone, my name is Anna McGowan. I originally hail from Jackson, Mississippi. I have been in New Orleans for two years now and my love for it continues to swell. I am a Junior double major, studying Psychology and English Literature. I recently returned from the summer abroad program in Ireland, which served as a great means of perspective in terms of what I want career wise. I am torn at the moment, but have been thinking about law school or maybe grad school for English. Nothing is set in stone for me. Despite my focus in Literature, I am extremely interested in writing although I do not quite feel as if I have found my voice yet. I am also interested in film; some of my favorites include American Beauty, SLC Punk!, and anything by David Lynch. I am so excited about this course and getting to know all of you through the eye of it.
