My name is Kyle Bonnet, and I am sophomore, majoring in English with a concentration in writing. Sadly, I am not the elephant in the back, but the human wearing the sunglasses and that winning smile. Growing up in New Orleans east, I always dreamed living in uptown near the zoo (I was happily six year old, and elephants and Barney were the greatest creatures in existence), and since Loyola fits snugly in that dream, I thought it was the best choice.
I always push myself, and have been described as "a workaholic." In addition, I have been described as "a seven year old Liberace Muppet." I have no ideas for the future. Jokingly, I always tell my mother that I will go on the road for three years after college, and she, an avid fan of medical dramas, asks, "Why can't you just be a neurosurgeon?"
My interests vary from listening to musicals to watching Bryan Cranston's brilliant performance on Breaking Bad to riding on ferries at 2:00 A.M. After reading others' blog posts, I can't wait to get into literary discussion with everyone else. Let's have a great semester everyone!
Sincerely,
The Boy That's Sadly Not The Elephant
I love Breaking Bad. I am also glad you are a workaholic. We need more of those in the world. The Puritans would love you.
