My name is Denise Weaks and I am currently a senior at Loyola University
majoring in Liberal Studies, with a concentration in Psychology and a minor in
Criminal Justice. Most of my college education has been achieved in evening
division classes at Loyola
University. Including
this class, I require 6 hours to graduate and my plans are to complete my
studies by year’s end.
I
am 52 years old and I have been in the hotel business for 34 years. Presently,
I am working for the hotel division of a local real estate development and
restoration company, Historic Restoration, Inc. HRI owns and manages three New Orleans hotels, two
new Hyatt hotels and a Hilton. I represent all three in the citywide convention
market. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in the country (Edgard, LA.)
with my family and friends.
Remember,
invest is what counts, you!
Welcome back, Denise. I hope you enjoy the course. No films though.

Hi Dr. McCay its good to be back. This is my last semester, but I’ll probably return to do some volunteer work. I truly love Loyola. Speaking of films, if you see Loyola’s Evening Division Commercial, I’m the one they stuck outside, in the mosquito infested heat, while Professor Lentz and Gail Jackson delivered their lines in air-conditioned comfort.
